    - 2 medium-sized tomatoes, pureed

    - 1 large onion, finely chopped

    - 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced

    - 1-inch piece of ginger, grated

    - 1 green chili, finely chopped (adjust to taste)

    - 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

    - 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

    - 1 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)

    - 1 teaspoon coriander powder

    - 1/2 teaspoon garam masala

    - 1/4 cup fresh cream (optional)

    - 2 tablespoons oil or ghee

    - Salt to taste

    - Chopped cilantro for garnishing

Method for making the Matar Paneer Recipe

    1.Prepare the Base:

       - Heat oil or ghee in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and allow them to splutter.

       - Add the finely chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.

    2. Aromatic Blend:

       - Stir in the minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped green chili. Sauté for a couple of minutes until the raw aroma dissipates.

    3.Tomato Puree:

       - Add the tomato puree to the pan and cook until the oil starts to separate from the mixture. This indicates that the tomatoes are well-cooked.

    4. Spice Infusion:

    - Introduce the turmeric powder, red chili powder, and coriander powder to the tomato mixture. Cook for a few minutes, stirring continuously, to blend the spices evenly.

    5.Protein Powerhouses:

       - Add the paneer cubes and green peas to the mixture. Stir gently to coat them with the flavors. If using frozen peas, ensure they are thawed before adding.

    6.Creamy Finish (Optional):

       - For a luscious touch, pour in the fresh cream. This step is optional but adds a velvety richness to the dish.

    7.Simmer and Season:

       - Reduce the heat to low and let the curry simmer for about 10-15 minutes. This allows the paneer and peas to absorb the flavors. If needed, add water to achieve your preferred consistency.

    8.Final Flourish:

       - Sprinkle garam masala over the curry, giving it a final burst of aromatic flavor. Add salt to taste and gently stir.

    9.Garnish and Serve:

     - Transfer the Matar Paneer Delight to a serving dish. Garnish with chopped cilantro to add a burst of color and freshness.
